The Herald has had a terrific start to its fall semester! After an exciting last few weeks of publication in the spring (check out our investigation of a dean's alleged plagiarism and interactive feature examining local homelessness), we're continuing to push forward on orienting the paper toward a digital-first framework. Look for a photo essay blog hosted on The Herald's site, a la the New York Times' Lens, to launch within the next few weeks, and stay tuned for the upcoming publication of a variety of investigative and long-form narrative projects currently in the works. We've also been making a number of changes behind the scenes, including efforts to streamline nightly production and diversify The Herald's staff.

In the meantime, we hope you're enjoying our daily coverage, whether it's about racial profiling among campus police, concentrations that draw no students or artisanal pickles. And if you haven't already subscribed to our daily email newsletter, you can do so here.
